Biography
No home page is complete without a page wasted on depicting on how great I am,
and how I am a web-designer, simply because I wrote a web site, and one for a mate
down the road.
I am not a web designer, this is not a design, there is one graphic in it, and
that's the banner. I am a web developer (ah ha, yeah right). I spend too much
time playing with PHP and Apache, and occasionally dabble in the art of JavaScript
and usually fail.
I live in Bath, England. It's a Roman City (Aqua Sulis) and has natural hot
springs - that smell horrendously of sulphar, natch. Bath is, apparently, the
most expensive city to live in outside of London - and I don't find that hard
to believe.
Now this paragraph is where things change, this is what is called, in the business
- an 'update'. Actually, it's two updates, things have changed yet again. I am
no longer an Infrastructure Engineer, but have jumped areas and become a Systems
Developer. I spend my day playing with in-house software when it goes wrong;
or more usually when somebody makes it go wrong.
I am a self confessed geek, and know more than what is healthy about computers.
In my spare time I run (with some other people) an organisation known as
Wireplay. I don't plan to talk about
Wireplay one bit on this site, or discuss anything I do with it. This would
be counter-productive and would also indicate obsession.
Yes, I am a cynical b****** with poor spelling, love me please.
