Whilst I'm employed as a programmer, I am an all-round computer enthusiast and didn't start with programming.  I enjoy systems and infrastructure tasks as they deliver results quickly without reinventing the wheel.  Having a solid understanding in IT Systems helps develop supportable and scalable solutions.
